"For He is the one, for His good purposes - who ENERGISES US - giving us both THE WILL and THE POWER to ACT."

This was said by Saint Paul in around 50 AD - who travelled over 10,000 MILES BY FOOT on his three missionary journeys to spread the gospel/good news of Jesus Christ. 

Surely this must be one of the greatest examples of "Carpe diem" ever recorded by one single human being.

As Henry Ford said - "Give me a person of average intelligence - but with a burning desire - and I will give you a winner - every time".
